Margot’s Wedding (originally Doily Days) was founded by Helen Ruff who wanted to create an edgy bridal title covering Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey. The print based magazine/website and social media brand, was designed to promote local suppliers via advertising as well as bringing them together to collaborate on awe inspiring shoots.
Arty, playful, cool, quirky
Brand Identity, Magazine Design, Advert Design, Promotional items.
From the moment I met Jo and talked shop I knew she ‘got’ my brand and knew how to communicate that through design.
She designed me a new logo, a website, put together a ‘brand style guide’, did all the design for my bi-annual magazine for three years (until I ceased publication) and she created me a new logo when I rebranded under a different name.
Over all those years I’ve been nothing short of delighted with Jo’s designs and communication style, we’ve never had a crossed word and though I’m sure, as the client, I was frustrating at times Jo always listened to what I wanted and made necessary changes without any fuss or drama. I’m so proud of all the work we did together; me collating words and images and Jo turning them into the attractive, on brand finished product. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”
